Gothic bathroom

Luxury for a home that's a palace

This Gothic-themed bathroom is part of a master suite bedroom, sunroom, sitting room with fireplace and walk-in closet -- that fills an entire side of a mansion. The bathroom includes a two-person Romanesque shower/steam room; a whirlpool tub; and a mix of complementary colors, textures and materials.

Custom-created, gold-toned paint and glaze finish on hardwood cabinetry accents the room and adds to the ambiance. A television is cleverly concealed in a tall custom cabinet. Tumbled marble floor tiles, granite countertops on the vanities, gilded mirrors, faux-marble columns, foiled wall coverings and crystal chandeliers complete the palatial look.
