Old House Blogging Contest Finalists to be Announced

A big thank you to all of the bloggers who entered our Old House Blogger Contest. We will be reading entries this weekend and selecting our five favorites. These finalists will move on the the second round of the competition.

As noted in the contest rules, we’ll be judging entries on the following criteria:

1. Is your blog entry captivating and easy to read?
2. Is your blog entry appropriate for an audience of old house enthusiasts?
3. Was your post inspiring, helpful, or informative?
4. Did you link to and explain relevant online media?
5. Did you provide any other funny or engaging anecdotes?
6. Has your post generated a lot of traffic or earned links from other Web sites?

On Monday, November 23rd, we’ll announce the five finalists and you’ll have a chance to read and rate the entries and vote for your favorite. The winning blogger will win a $250 gift card to Lowe’s and an opportunity to become a paid contributor to the Old House Blog.
