Re: Old Sturbridge Village

Plastic cows? shazzbatt! Our last visit was in 2004. I remember seeing real cows, real sheep, and chickens. They still had real humans in character at Strawberry Banke in Portsmouth the last time I was there in 2007.

Re: 1940's decorating

I don't think I have any magazines that are pre 20's, but I do have this, in case you've never seen it.

Plus, there are images of interiors of that period in my other Picasa albums, just browse around.

1940's decorating

Hi, I haven't posted in a long time, though I've dropped in once in a while. I've been scanning pages from some 1940's magazines onto Picasa. Some people were trying to recreate 1940's homes in miniature scale so I though I'd help out, since I had the magazines anyway. The pages I scanned include so...

Re: Anyone in the vicinity of Wyncote PA?

I contacted the present owner of my old home and we've exchanged a few emails. She sent me a picture of the house that I can share. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v312/ruhappynow/wyncoteRE.jpg She and her husband bought it about 15 years ago and started restoring it. She said her husband used to ...

Re: Anyone in the vicinity of Wyncote PA?

Hi, and thanks again Bill, for steering me towards the Google street view. I had forgotten all about that possibility. Actually, whenever I had tried to use it before to check out places I could never get the darn thing to work, but it's working great now. How did you ever find that site with the pe...

Anyone in the vicinity of Wyncote PA?

This is a longshot, but is there anyone living near Wyncote PA who'd consider taking a picture of a certain old house for me? It's the house I lived in when I was in 2nd grade, and the house that I think must have ingnited my love for Victorian architecture. The houses on this street were supposedly...
