Well we finally got the bathroom done right before turkey day. Well almost done. We don't have a door yet and still have some trim work to do but it is usable. We ended up not putting in a shower and did just a vanity with a small toilet. We put prefinished hardwood floors down since it was only 6x6...

Did a Christmas home tour...SAD!!

So some friends of ours took us on a tour of an area in Dayton Ohio called the MacPhereson Town ( I think). It is an area just off of 75 going south and close to the downtown area. I was so excited and the outsides of the homes were great with all kinds of colors...no two alike. Went inside about 10...

So where is this warehouse in Louisville? I may have to take a road trip down there. How is the restoration going on the house ?
What hours is this place open?

Re: Furniture reupholstery

your couch is gorgeous and will be beautiful when done. I hope you post a pic when it is finished. I have done 4 chairs when I took upholstery classes back in Louisville. It is fun and scarey when you have to do "the cut". Good luck. This couch is better than anything you can buy now a days.

small bathroom

We have a small bath off the kitchen that has a stand up shower, toilet and pedastal sink. We have gutted it and now can't decide whether to put the shower back in or just make it a half bath. Hubby wanted to make it a wet room (basically open shower ) but it is only about 5x5 maybe 6x6 at the most....
