Re: Bungalow

Are you planning to have an inspection done? Big ticket items imho of course are roof and structure particularly the foundation. I'm in a house with a failing foundation so I can't fix much until we get that repaired and it is frustrating.

Re: bathroom exhaust fan question

I don't know what floor you have the one venting to now but our downstairs bath will vent out on the main floor. Our upstairs bath also needs a vent put in and we will vent that outside the bathroom upstairs. I think it would be much easier to just vent each one and make that opening.

LOL I won't be any help here I guess. I actually like the yellow wall but not so much the floor color.

Can you post a larger view of the room maybe with a bit of floor, ceiling, trim, and wall?

That is a nice improvement with the storms. This house sure needs some new storms. We have the old aluminum ones and they don't seem to do much of anything any longer.

Re: Is there really a storm door to keep the cold out?

I'm ready to wrap the whole darn house in plastic wrap! Leave a little flap for the door. I've been in a lot of houses and never one as drafty as this one. I've taped things closed and plasticed up unused doors on the outside and stuffed every hole I can find but there are still what feels like cros...
