My contractor friend did a good check all over the house for termite damage and said everything else was termite-free. It is on city water now, but we don't have sewer. It's on septic. I am fortunate in that I do a lot of travelling with my job, so I get my travel fix for free. My college is paid for, I just paid off my car, and I have no debts, plus my job is extremely secure. As far as finances go, I feel very prepared for what could happen. I plan to take care of the "biggies" ...
