Re: thinking about purchasing home in low middle class area

We too bought an old house but probably for the neighborhood paid to much. We have put well over 100 grand into our house to make it livable for us. Our area is a mix of small , med and big houses with the big house being ours and our neighbors. Our house was actually built by a doctor back in 1900 ...

Re: 5x5 maybe?

Actually the bathroom was an addition to the house so it is over a crawl space and easy access to the pipes etc. The floor is going to be replaced anyway because is was a shit job to begin with. The sink will have plenty of room but the toilet is the one I wondered about.
Thanks for the info

5x5 maybe?

We have a small bath..ground floor that was an add on to the house way before we ever moved here. It is probably about 5.5x 5.5...but not 6x6. Right now we have a pedastal sink (hate it), stand up shower and toilet in there and I still want it all but we want to move the toilet so it goes under the ...

Re: Fair price for a used appliance?

yeah 800 is way to much for a 6yr old stove. You can buy a brand new one for that. I would forgo it if I were you. Check places that are getting ready to put out the new models because you can get last years model for a lot less.

Re: Kitchen Disasters - DIY Show

When we remodeled our kitchen we did have a built in cabinet that when we took out the wall we had the contractor save the cabinet and put it out in our garage. Our other cabinets were not original or if they were they were muddled beyond redemption. The PO had put chicken wire and curtains on the i...
