It never fails does it? Something always happens on a weekend with a holiday and it's a day when stores close. Good job on the temporary fix. Hope it holds long enough.

I second the use of a standard (low) height over the modern "comfort" height. As ugly as it may sound I believe elimination to be easier on the body in the lower position.
