love the stained glass. Is it original. But oh those glass blocks yuck. Have you moved in yet?

No we have not moved in and won't for probably a long time unless hubby can't find a new job in which case we won't have any choice but to move there and let our main home go.

The stained glass is original but it is actually walled over inside.

My boyfriend and I's first home! We don't know the build date, but we do know it existed in 1900 based on cencus records. There is an old brick school house up the concession that was built in 1883...

Closing day!:

Side view. The grey structure has since collapsed due to some crazy heavy snow fall. It was a piece of junk and not original to the home so I wasn't too upset!:

Colmer-Boldt house, Moss Point, MS. Built c. 1880 with major additions c. 1887-1889.

Front porch. This was last October - you can see my cobwebs in the top corner lol.

Back of the house. There used to be a large back porch that ran the length of the back. Over the years it was closed in a little at a time.

thanks! I guess the blue ceilings were supposed to keep flies away in summer. When I was a kid I remember we always hung ziplock bags filled with water on the porch to do that.
