Enigma, my dear: There is no such thing in these parts as "too eager to share photos." No. Such. Thing.

Thought I'd say "hey" and post a summertime pic of our gem! If you look real hard, you can see yourself sitting on the front porch with us sharing a mint julep or a lemonade and some fresh baked sugar cookies :)

Beautiful, Bob!

Your sig line is also something I often find repeating to myself around our place. :) (Happy in Hartwood's being the other...)

I had the good fortune of meeting a local amateur photographer at a craft show recently who surprised me with prints he took of my home. This photo was taken a few days after the winter storm we had last week. The photograph was taken by William R. Westerhoff.

oldhouseluvr,
That photo is great. I love the look and colors of your house, it looks inviting and cheerful, even in the snow :D

Thanks, rehabbingisgreen! DH takes great pride in picking out the details in the gingerbread trim in different colors. He has more hours than we can count painting the house. When we repainted after moving in, save money we decided to stay with the body colors that were on the house when we bought it, but we wanted more of a painted lady effect so DH took on the job of painting the shingles and other trim in contrasting colors.

Oldhouse lover... I feel your husband's pain in the painting dept. It's not for the faint-of-heart.
