I love it! The black shashes look really good- I may be inspired enough to start considering painting our shashes black... *maybe* How fun that you can get such a good idea of how it will look!

Thanks! My wife isn't a fan of the red at the top. She said it makes it looks like a clown house. I told her I'm doing all of the work myself, so she doesn't get a say in it. I like it, that's all that matters!

If you or anyone needs to see what something would look like I'd be happy to help as long as it wasn't something that would take too long. I'm a graphic designer by trade, so it doesn't take me very long.

I say this to my boyfriend ALL THE TIME. Doesn't get me anywhere very often.

7/10: I was away last weekend so I was ready to get back to it this weekend.

Finished priming the overhang at the peak. In this picture my 40' ladder was extended to the second to last rung.

Painted most of the body, except under the porch. The paint is going up way faster than the primer did, which is exciting. I got this done in about 11 hours.:

The paint I got for the trim is a light tan color, but after seeing the main color up, I think I'm going to do white instead.

7/24: Things are really starting to come together. I'll take some better (non-cellphone) pictures when I'm finished in about a week.

What do you think?

Edit: Uploaded new picture. The house looked baby blue on my monitor in the picture that was up.
