This is a great post. I haven't seen the exteriors of some of these homes before and I see that some of you have painted, but I don't recall seeing the "afters".

 'fraid my colonial revival is going to look a bit plain after so many beautiful homes, but we love her dearly, mismatched windows and all.

Here's photos of my two fav features.
One, the front steps:

And two the roof-line I love (with failing chimney :P )

I agree! My favorite so far also!

Well, I can't decide...they're all great, but you have to give Al a bit of extra credit for having an antique car that matches his antique house!

Hey, thanks 8)

Yep, that is a 1932 Nash that was on loan by a friend during our county centennial when we had the historic house tours.

We'll have to get it back for some updated photos, along with green 1939 Lincoln V12 limo he had parked at the house a few weeks later for another party. They'd look great with new green paint.

Donoinmass' house is indeed awesome, but all the houses are great to see. Theobald's paint scheme is very cheery and eye-catching :)

Each of our houses are pretty cool in my mind - HB's ancient stone house; doninmass' colonial revival; KSR's SW victorian - the fun is our homes are from across the country - from across the centuries and so many different styles - from humble to middle class to the "bankers" house - all being worked on and cared for and meeting their challenges!

I think we should keep this thread current - so newbies can add theirs and visit ours. I've enjoyed taking the tour!
