We only get about 40-50" of snow in a typical winter, so gutters don't tend to be a problem.
I guess I'll go ahead with the 16" profile and post pics after it's done.
I'm still not sure about color of the roof though. Should I go dark grey, silver, light grey?? I plan on restoring the exterior eventually to look original, with shakes and white clapboard.

What is standing seam?
