i had a bat get in when an attic window blew in this past spring.. one was enough... tried getting him to get out of the attic through a window that i opened and then stayed up there... wouldn't go near the window.. but haven't found a body yet
That brings back lots of memories. I had that many, if not more, bats when we first got the Big Pile of Bricks. They were in the attic between some wall board and the roof sheathing. You'd pull loose a piece of wall board and they'd come out and swirl around in the attic like some kind of horror movie. Oh, and I had a dump truck load of guano to remove. A buddy and I counted the ones we saw leaving the attic one night. We stopped counting at 500. There were just too many of them after that.
"Pure Stinking Genius, that's what that is. Hey, can someone get me a fire extinguisher?"
Holy Moly!!! It's been a long time since I went up into my attic....now I'm afraid to! It's a bit of a pain...more like a big crawl space than a real attic.
We had a hawk end up stuck in our attic at the last home. Sort of a challenge to get him out and really surprised the wife when she stuck her head up in the attic after I call her and the hawk flew right over her head.
Yuk...that`s scary crazy. Ive peaked in my `attic` ( sorry my exclamation marks dont work). Hopaefully i will never have bats
in my attic as you can not even stand up there.
putting the 18 back in my 1872 Victorian farmhouse.
