Ceiling fan interra-cotta block ceiling

I want to install a ceiling fan in a bedroom of my condo. The building was built in 1905 and ceiling is terra cotta block.

We've got pendant lights and track lighting in the ceiling already, so I assume this can't be too difficult. What considerations should I use when mounting a box to support the fan?

Any recommendations on fasteners to use?
