Upper Porch Structure

First post here. May be buying a 1912 home that needs some porch work. The decking has been replaced, but the overhead portion needs attention. Inner structure looks good, so is it pretty straightforward to replace the rotten face boards and if so what type of wood is best for this application? Any advice suggestions appreciated. Thank you!
