Sheetrock First Coat Primer

Does anyone know where I can by USG Sheetrock Frist Coat Primer? I heard it's the stuff to use.

Also, my husband thinks that you don't have to paint textured drywall ceilings. Is that true?

Not sure on the primer.
and
You need to paint it.
