There seem to be a lot of nasty biting things down south ! Fire ants, scorpions, chiggers, & now asp caterpillers---never saw one of those when we lived in Texas thank heaven! Don

Not to even mention the pet owners that insist on walking their small dogs along the waterways it seems like once a week another one becomes lunch for a gator.

I do not miss the cold but I do miss the change of seasons and the first snowfall or how everything looks so clean after a snowfall ,and Christmas just feels weird sitting by the pool in 80 degree weather

Poisonous caterpillars... who knew?

We had fire ants in California... hated those things. At least I thought they were fire ants. Red, tiny, stung. They got my son on our patio when he was a toddler and when I went out to see why he was yelling they got me and I was allergic to them. Had hives all over my body from a few bites on my feet. Had a fun afternoon then spraying them with Raid.

They were probably busy concentrating on your direction of travel!

Unfortunately the winters haven't been as cold as in the past so a lot of critters that use to be killed off now over winter & are causing more illness each year . Don
