Worked for me. Another dude (green for Earth Day) in Northern Illinois has been "placed".

Yep! There are so many nice old houses, I can't believe there aren't more of us on here. We just barely made it in Minnesota by 26 miles :)

Okay, must've just been down when I tried to go there last time. Kass already put us on there so not much for me to do. :)

Somehow I never added our little bungalow, so we're there now, the only members in Indianapolis. I find that surprising actually...

This is wa-a-y cool! I Just put a marker up - I'm all by myself in the mysterious east (of Canada that is!). Quick intro: I am a senior woman who has lived in older houses except for one while I was in High school and University.
My current home is a partially restored full cape in Nova Scotia - I'm waiting to win the lottery to complete it!! Nova Scotia is a treasure trove of early New England style homes and some even pre-date the influx of New England Planters in 1760.
As exactly as I can judge, my home started life around 1820 as a half cape and was added to and "modernized" around 1850 to make it a full cape. A wonderful, cranky old house, but the very devil to heat in the winter!!

All by myself here in central MI...in the boonies, so there's no high res images of my place either.

Still figuring out how to post pics - getting over (hopefully) a bad cold so it won't be tonight - so I'll get some of my place up soon. Supposedly built in the1870s; thought it was an old farmhouse, but I've been told it's a four square, too. I don't know the difference - still learning! :?

Hi,
This may be an old thread, but did you know that you can add images of your house on Google Earth,I used Panoramio.com, you submit your photos, then they review them and approve them (takes about a month )then you get a little blue dot on Google Earth.Thought that was pretty cool
I usually put off stuff today, so I have something to do tommorrow. 1915 Bungalow
