What an amazing building!
My first thought was 'how could you let that go downhill like that?'
Now I want to know more about the building.

There's a drawing of what the original house looked like here:

It is amazing how a house that was once so grand could be allowed to get like that.
Laws of Home Repair:
1) It will be more difficult than you think.
2) It will take much longer than you think.
3) Murphy's Law is in effect tenfold.

I have oggled over that building for years every time I go up to the Thousand Islands. It is SOOOOOO cool! I really wish someone would save it!
