I am w you....know how you feel, need to.sell my 1750 farmhouse, but agonizing over having to do it.
Sense,of place is a strong feeling. Dont know what next, an apartment back in the city ? The economy is just a killer for me

But take a leap it sounds,like the surrounding area is unpleasant. Question would be are you a city person or country person, if u like the vibe of the city mayve theres another house in town living the quite life in the country is VERY different,
