I'm sure that some of you will agree if I'll say that if you want a great neighbor, be a great neighbor. The advantages of knowing your neighbor extend into many places.

I would live by Utopia any day. My neighbors moved to Florida but are renting out their house. The good news is they made it very clear they only want responsible people to rent. They know I'll be in touch if they get out of line and in fact want me to.

Been through 30+ years of neighborhood generation changes. Drugs, gangs, hoodlums, junk, MURDERS! We seem to be in a "quiet era" right now. We'll see what happens as some of the new young-un's start to grow up, which depends on the parenting skills. Of course, none of that time revealed anyone who knew how to paint, pound a nail, fix a roof, or was even good looking. Enjoy your peace and quiet for a while.
