...you're proud to show off the fact that your dining room has never, in the house's entire history, had an electrical receptacle. (At least a receptacle as we know them today. They probably used Edison adapters in the ceiling light fixture.)

...you and your brother take an 8.5 hour round trip in one day out East to pick up a load of doors, sash, old light fixtures, and misc. "junk" that was stripped from an 1886 farmhouse... and when that trip costs $140 in gasoline alone.
