In the last few weeks we have completed most of the structural work, and the walls have been reframed giving the room layout its original configuration. The masons started inside on Thursday, and have shored up a lot of the deficient walls. There will be another week or so of framing, as the roof still needs to have the rafters sistered. We should have plans for the bathrooms this week at long last, so that they can get framed. Then HVAC, plumbers and electricians will invade the premises. I will probably begin the trim this week or next, and then the plasterer will start. Yes, trim, then plaster, the 1820's way!

Hi,
I wanted to share a new project house we started at work last month. We are doing structural mitigation. It involved four dumpsters of demolition. We had to take out everything that was a)- not original or b)- in the way of repairing the severe structural degradations.
The house is 1817 with an 1845 addition, all brick.
One teaser photo (what shall I pick...? OK)
So this is the album link:
