wind bracing?

Anyone got pictures of a house with wind bracing? Was wondering if my house had them.

You can see the wind bracing used in my house from my bedroom renovation. Some good examples near the bottom of the page

So the wind bracing is the diagonal 2 x 4's between the studs? I guess without taking down the interior walls there is no way to tell otherwise. Am I correct in thinking that your house has no exterior sheathing, Shazz - just the clapboards?

The siding has a bit of a shiplap, so there may be some sort of bracing there.

You could use a stud finder, or a thermographic camera to see if you could find them.

I've also seen diagonal 1 x 6 bracing in the corners of buildings then covered by sheathing & siding. A lot of new construction simply uses 4 x 8 sheets of plywood.
