Thanks pqtex .......hubby is making steady progress( he's a tough old bird)
But the Doctors don't know what is wrong with him. I have been told
He could be in hospital for another month then referred to a rehab
Hospital as an in patient. Eventually his clients will have to be told
and he could lose them. For now his business partner is covering for
Him. It's hard not to worry. The only thing preventing me from
Worrying myself silly is all the traveling I am doing. It takes
about 4 hours to get from home to the hospital, longer when it's rush
Hour. I left the hospital at 6:30pm this afternoon and arrived home
At 11:00 pm. If he is transferred to a rehab hospital I hope it can.
Be one a little nearer as the traveling time and costs are hitting the
"pocket book" hard.
Just saw your post Gothichome. Thanks...... I guess there is going to
Have to be some " belt tightening" around here. Selling up is not an option
Since the house is in mid renovation so we will have to hang I.
Until things improve money wise.

lupin, as I have said before, I respect your incredible strength and your ability to tackle any issue as it arises.

I am very sorry to hear that your husband is having medical issues and also to hear that it is taking such a toll on you.

I hope that the doctors resolve the mystery as soon as they can and he can be closer to you or even home soon.

Until that time, know that we are here, at least for moral support and well wishes.

Hi SkipW.... Thanks for the kind words. Hubby is doing much better.
He is now texting and on Facebook again. He is walking and is expected
To start stair climbing in his Physio session tomorrow.

Hi CivilwarHome... Thanks for the kind words and thoughts. Hubby has
Been transferred to a rehab hospital. However this
Morning he was complaining of chest pains and
The doctors at the first hospital thought it might
Be a Pulmonary Embolism so he is slated to
Have another round of tests today. So I am still
Holding my breath and praying all goes well with
The tests. The floor problems are kind of on hold
Right now. Although hubby's business partner is
Now pressuring him to sell the farm and move
To the city. He has said he will bring in his "Crew" mainly
Made up of his friends to do the floor and if I refuse
His help he will stop signing cheques for us.
Now I'm being blackmailed.

Wait a minute....

This is your husband's BUSINESS PARTNER?

He is blackmailing you by withholding money which, if held by the company, is half your husband's?

Does your husband know this?

This does not sound in any way like a friend.

Unless the business has been floating you and your hubby loans outside of his business income, he has no right to withhold what is rightfully yours (or your husband's), I would think.

I hope you prevail and later put that man where he belongs in your life.

just sayin'

Hi SkipW... No we have never had any loans floated out of the company.
He offered and is covering for my hubby right now so he thinks that
Gives him the right to have a say in all aspects of our family life.
He always did have opinions and didnt mind voicing them " whenever/ where'ever"
He chose. Some times in very abusive language and at Client sites. He thinks he
Is some kind of "Reno Expert" since he has laid Laminate flooring.
That he knows all about re building floors and I know nothing.
Haha! Wait until he sees my floor. He will put his tail between his
Legs and run. He's not coming near my home. I would rather burn it
To the ground first.

Too funny, I see you've still got your 'tude!

May the Spirit of Old Homes come to you in the night and sprinkle you with renovation dust!

As always, best of luck and I hope hubby comes home soon!
