Facade revealed!
I'm going to dive right into the picture because I'm so pleased!
At this particular moment I'm finding it hard to find any reason to change anything... I've got a nice fire going, a comfortable cat stretched out on the blanket in front of it, a few good books and a mug of wine... what else do I need??? (Well, maybe to buy a couple of wine glasses so I don't have to drink my wine out of a mug.)

DH got all the rest of the siding and strapping off the front of the house this week while I was busy supply teaching. We also got internet at the house, which is why I can post this now instead of waiting until next week!At this particular moment I'm finding it hard to find any reason to change anything... Our 1914 brick Toronto house; Our 1913 concrete island house; and the house I dream of owning, my husband's family's 1880-ish Toronto foursquare.

Seriously, it looks fantastic! And I literally laughed out loud at your mug full of wine
sounds like the perfct world. Did I miss interior pictures somewhere?

Re: Facade revealed!
Very nice! Will you be installing a deck for the mother-in-law door as well as the favourite mother in law door (upstairs door)?

Re: Facade revealed!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! It's wonderful! Just absolutely lovely.
I pulled up the before and after pics and dragged my computer over to show my man. He got a big smile, too.

It looks amazing.
Re: Facade revealed!
It rests my soul to see a house quietly basking in the luxury of restored dignity. Nobody is forcing it to be something it's not (faux brick notwithstanding). What a relief. OHW Victory!
