Sorry for the delay. I have been itching o find time to update this forum. We closed on the 23rd and we have already had a huge family birthday party this past weekend. We won't be moving in until July but we have stayed a couple of nights. We are thrilled. Please read my blog which I started today. It has some pictures and my historical research. http://phoenixfarms.wordpress.com

You have a good start with your blog; I hope your love affair with your new home lasts for a long time! The name of your farm is certainly appropriate. One comment; beaver board is extremely flammable so I would want to remove all of it as soon as possible.

The blog is very nice.

I'm sorry about your old place and the stress that causes. The new place is fabulous, tho. It seems you are the third owner and, if I'm understanding correctly, it was an estate sale? Too bad they couldn't sell it with the contents. You'd be set.

Do you think the house has had much re-muddling?
