My first time-the obligatory "what is my house"

Postby studenate on Thu Feb 23, 2012 1:45 pm

My wife and I are submitting an offer on this beautiful historic 1923 home and I am wanting help identifying the style. We lost our home and all of our possessions on January 2 to a fire and we are hoping to get a fresh start here.

Nate,
We can't see your pic cause you have to have an account to view from that site.
Try to load it to http://imgur.com instead.
It's free and easy to use.

Wow...first and foremost, I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your previous house (and possessions). While it is true that there should be joy in the fact that no one was hurt, the loss of possessions, many of which carry a great deal of emotional and nostalgic significance, is a truly horrible thing, and I can't begin to imagine the emotional toll that would wreak. Again, I'm so sorry.

But, looking at what bright side there is to be had from such an awful situation, you did come away with an absolutely gorgeous Arts and Crafts bungalow! PLEASE post pictures of the inside!

After several counter-offers, we have agreed in principle with the seller! We are beyond thrilled. We are signing the contract and having the inspection done on Sunday. We will be closing soon! Pictures of the inside will come soon. Thanks everyone!
