Okay, I'll start. Here is our guest bathroom before. The shower on the left was waaaay too large for the space and never used because the water wouldn't stay inside. Old, and not a very good design. I had the lights and mirror installed before I thought to get a true "before" shot.
After
The cabinet and built in mirror I made from walnut
Framed the window to match the mirror
The paneled wainscotting is 1/2 inch mdg, routered and applied directly to the wall. The inside panels are the drywall.
I have the same table in my upper hallway (painted because the finish was ruined and we didn't know any better at the time).
Mine are the size of closets. No room for a closet in them in fact. The bathtub is the depth of the bathroom and behind the door on the left. Hate the fake beadboard that the PO put up. Like the way you warrinized your bath Warren!!

From Wisconsin . . . Mrs. D's bathroom (before and after). Above: Before Photo Taken January 15, 2009 Above: After Photo Taken May 29, 2009 Rub a dub dub, 1903 Kohler tub. Born May 12, 1903, Plant Line 2, Kohler WI--according to serial nos. & Kohler records. Walnut dresser purchased at second hand store for $70. Next Window sign (from Uncle Herman's collection--he got it out of an old bank), Radio still works. Sitting on the shelf are gray iron coat hooks with little birds--later I installed hooks on the three doors in the bathroom, and you can see the original door stop knobs sitting on the shelf by the right sconce.
CWS, your bathroom is so cozy. I like your beadboard and would really like a window like yours in my bathroom, but alas that back bedroom add-on took away any chance for that. I have a project in mind to rectify it though (mums the word) I really like the shelves too. My friend just down the road has a house I really love. It's soo cozy. She puts things she likes to look at in her bathroom too. She has a lot of furniture, tables and curio cabinets full of things, but it isn't cramped, just cozy. I'm trying. I am not quite through with my bathroom so I'll withhold my pictures for now.
