I really really really want to see more pictures though, its like peaking in a window that has curtains up and you can just see a little glimpse of awesomeness but can't quite see the details, lol

Wow, I love that fireplace. It's got kind of an unusual shape/setup. I've never seen one quite like it. And the chandelier looks awesome. I'm craving more photos of your house after seeing this and your bathroom thread.

So ummm, when can we see more of your nice photo shoot?

Sooth, it's killing me. I have been emailing the photographer every couple of weeks since the shoot (which was back in March!). I've only managed to get 2 shots back besides the one I posted here and those 2 photos are being submitted for consideration to a magazine so I can't post them yet.

And progress on the interior of the house is super slow because our main plasterer/painter's wife was hospitalized. It seems like every room in the house is like 85% complete, which is really frustrating. And most of the rooms are still jammed packed with moving boxes too so it's pretty much impossible to photograph anything. I did take "before" pics while the guys were repairing plaster and stripping wallpaper so I can't wait to do a before and after post. Right now we are consoling ourselves by buying some really cool antiques like the side board pictured. We're also working a ton in the back yard getting the pond back to health. We recently added some koi to it.

Geez...it's been kinda rough living in a construction zone, though. Makes me really tip my hat to the people who do major renovations. But we're planning on doing another fashion editorial shoot in the library soon, so I think the push should be on to finish up that room. It has a really terrific fireplace and bookcases in flame birch.

WOW! That's one heck of an awesome sideboard. I love the carved details.

As for the photos, that's pretty annoying. But also kind of cool that they might be in a magazine!

And yeah, I'm kind of in that "major renovations" category. The entire house has been a disaster/construction zone since pretty much day 1 (April 30th 2010). As of now, I'm fairly close to having 2 rooms done, with something like 20% done on most of the others.
