Ok...first, I'm sure many of you remember my skinny little willow I got 3 years ago.

Well, she has blossomed into a fairly large tree these days. I'm guessing she's about 20' or so high now!

Weeded, added some miracle grow soil & a fresh layer of mulch. The Salvia & my rose by the back porch are now ready to grow nice & strong!

After putting out weed killer under my shade tree 2 weeks ago, I loosened the soil, laid some landscaping fabric & topsoil & mulch. I'm hoping the Hostas really take off! My neighbor's mom gave them to me. They had come from her Father's garden after he passed away & had been growing at her place for the last 10 years, so even these are old house plants!
I will be adding some good top soil around the bare spots & putting down grass seed. I hope that takes off too!

This fenceline is filled with a bunch of colorful daylilies. The section in front that looks like nothing but dirt, I planted 8 Tiger Lily bulbs! Can't wait to see them grow too!

After trimming the dead stuff off and giving them a good shot of some Bayer Rose "stuff" (black spot killer) they already all have buds!!

Got a couple nice big Boston Ferns hanging...

Everything but the green chair is new/old. Got some from the local auctions downtown! That was fun!

Walking up the steps of the porch...these are to the right. Snapdragons & Crocus

More of the same on the Left...with the addition of a Bleeding Heart...

And no porch is complete without a lazy kitty!!

So...there it is! Lots of digging & weeding, but it's SO worth it! I have a few more sections that need attention, but it's all getting there. Slowly but surely!
