No kidding! It was pretty cool...flew right over our building. We're about 1/4 mi away from Dulles Airport & the Smithsonian/Udvar-Hazy, where it will remain. Seeing it this close was a treat for sure!! So...I thought I'd share!

Great shots! I was surprised they spent so much time touring around the capital. Beautiful footage of it going past all the landmarks though.

hehe...ummmm...well.....in all fairness, everyone on the highway was going about 5 mph, or stopped to take a pic!! After it passed, we all started moving again.

They flew directly over our building! A man who works down the hall from my team was ON the 747! I can't wait to ask him what that was like!

saaraah....I knew that many people would not have seen it. It flew at a very low altitude from Florida to our area in NoVa. (Northern Virginia), so it was visible to anyone in the flight path on Tuesday. I suppose that working in the DC area can sometimes be a good thing.

next time an airline gripes about the weight of our baggage, we should flash them this picture! This is a lot of luggage! Very cool!
