Sorry, I don't have a web page yet, so I'll do the cut and paste until I do.

We began our restoration Summer 2003. The first project was to get the house stabe and to build a usable garage. We had most of the brick repointed and the stone cleaned. Next was demolition and reconstruction of a caraige house and porch.

Once Winter hits, we demolish somthing on the interior and redo it. Yes we're sticking with plaster. Here are some room before and afters.

the project then was to repaint the trim/reglaze windows. About 1000 tubes later, the exterior should now be sealed.
The porch ceilings were scraped and restained/varnished.

Beautiful house! You have done a wonderful job in making it shine. Even though your "before" pictures aren't the kind of "before" pics most of us are used to

ahh you mean all of the demolition shots. I have those too. Trust me, you can hide (and they did) a lot with heavy paper. And every room was papered. Unfinished walls that had NEVER been plastered, or finished. Holes thru the wall. All cracked and bowed, shifting and falling. I just figured you all know what scaffolding and mess look like.

But thanks for the kind words. We had planned 5 years to get it all done. This summer will be 3 years and we are well on our way.
