Acer carpinifolium--Hornbeam Maple

The hornbeam maple 30 feet tall at maturity. The botanical and common names refer to the resemblance of the leaves to the leaves of trees in the genus carpinus. The tree is hardy and has an upright growth habit. Hornbeam maple is vase shaped and usually forms many stems.
