ASTER INSECTS

Aphids feed on lower leaf surfaces and flower stems. Applications of Diazinon dust, or sprays of Sevin, rotenone, or Orthene will control these pests.

Japanese beetles feed on aster and can be controlled with sprays of Sevin, methoxychlor, or rotenone.
