Brodiea douglasi - Starflower


Starflower bears bluish star shaped flowers in mid- summer. It grows best in full sun and well drained sandy loam. Planting is done in September or October and the plant may need some winter protection. Plant the bulbs 4 inches deep and 4 inches apart.

Propagation is by offsets removed from the bulbs in autumn.
