Dianthus alpinus--Alpine Pink
Dianthus alpinus--Alpine Pink Alpine pink bears pink flowers about 1 inch in diameter in June and July. The leaves are grassy looking and almost
completely hidden by the flowers. The plant tolerates some shade and needs a well drained, sandy soil. Division may be done after flowering is over. Alpine pink may be more difficult to grow than other dianthus.
