Dianthus plumerius--Cottage Pink, Grass Pink Pinks are easy to grow and are suitable for rock gardens. They grow in any good garden soil when exposed to
full sun. The plants last 3 to 4 years if old flowers are removed. Plantings generally need to be replaced every few years with plants grown from seed. Pinks respond to fertilization.
