Draba grows best in a sunny exposure and a light, well- drained sandy soil. They are planted in spring and can be used in rock gardens. Division can be done in autumn or early spring.
Draba compacta A low grower bearing the yellow flowers.
Draba sibirica (repens)--Siberian Draba A low, fast growing plant that quickly forms a mat. The bright yellow flowers last for several weeks during April and May. Divide after flowering, The plant may grow well in shade. A sparse, fall bloom may be obtained.
