Aphids suck plant juices and can be controlled with Diazinon dust or sprays of Sevin, rotenone or acephate.

Four-lined plant bug causes small, round, brown sunken spots on the leaves. No chemical control is listed.

Mites cause the foliage to lose its green color and become bronzed or stippled.
