Hypoestes sanguinolenta - Polka-Dot Plant, Freckle Face

Polka-dot plant has white or pink dots on the foliage. Provide medium light intensity and any good potting soil kept evenly moist. Fertilize at weekly intervals with house plant fertilizer. Ideal temperatures are between 60 and 85 degrees. The plant grows poorly in homes with low humidity. Prune or repot in spring if needed. Pinch young plants frequently keep them bushy.

Propagation is by seed, or by cuttings taken at any time.
