Pelargonium peltatum - Ivy Geranium

Ivy geranium is a good possibility for a hanging pot. Grow it in a sunny location or partial shade. Use any good potting soil, allowed to dry slightly between waterings. Any house plant fertilizer may be used at recommended rates. Cool temperatures are needed, ideally 60 to 65 degrees during the day and 50 to 55 degrees at night. Flower bud initiation depends on night temperatures between 50 and 55 degree. Ivy geranium prefers to be potbound. Odema can cause severe leaf drop during the winter.

Propagation is by stem tip cuttings.
