Pyrus salicifolia--Willow-leaved Pear


Willow-leaved pear grows 15 to 25 feet tall and has narrow silvery leaves. The white flowers, borne in mid-May, are followed by hard green fruit. The tree is susceptible to fire blight.

Willow-leaved pear has few cultivars; 'Pendula'-- weeping habit.
