Ranunculus asiaticus
Ranunculus is grown in full sun or partial shade and light soil. The plants benefit from weekly applications of liquid fertilizer when the flower stalks appear.
Plant in the spring, 2 to 3 inches deep and 4 to 5 inches apart. Dig them when the foliage dies down in the fall and store them in sand or peat in a frost free place. The tuberous roots may be divided.
