Salix blanda--Wisconsin Weeping Willow

List of files and visuals associated with this text.

Weeping willow grows 35 to 75 feet tall. It is a fast growing tree but is soft wooded and drops many twigs. The tree is easily moved and grows in wet soils. Weeping willows are best kept away from buildings or other property possibly damaged by falling branches. The weeping habit makes it popular but pest susceptibility and weak wood make it an undesirable tree.
