Spathiphyllum tolerates average house conditions and is easy to grow. The plant grows in low light and any ordinary soil. Keep the soil fairly moist and fertilize regularly with a dilute liquid fertilizer. The plant grows 2 feet tall so needs lots of room.

Propagation is by division in the autumn.
