What's the difference between a fireplace andiron and a chenet? Andirons are two separate pieces, whereas the chenet is one piece, connected by the fender across the front.

Based on models of the 1800s, this reproduction chenet can be ordered in 33 metallic finishes, such as antique pewter, polished brass and even gold leaf.
