Bathtubs: Color me calm

According to proponents of Chromatherapy, colored lights can reduce stress and induce feelings of tranquility and peace. Plumbing manufacturers are incorporating this idea into luxury tubs and whirlpools. Using four LED lights inside the tub's walls (and below the water line), this Sok bath produces eight colors in a specific order, with each color lasting about eight seconds.

The tub is extra deep (about 34") and also has 11 air jets for a relaxing massage. Even your ears are pampered. Water cascading over the tub's edge (and into a recirculating channel) creates soothing sounds. Price is about $6,000 (February 2005).
