In the 1950s, "Venetian Blinds" with 2" aluminum slats were all the rage in suburban America. These modern aluminum slatted-blinds are very similar in design, right down to the (optional) cloth tape ladders.
The seven-gauge aluminum slats are spring tempered, so they'll bounce back to shape if accidently (gently) bent. They're offered in several colors.
